Consult Psychology is a consortium of independent psychologist’s, each responsible for processing their own data.

Initial contact information will be the responsibility of joint data controllers Dr Carol Galvin and Dr Rachel Woodward. Information gathered during the initial 15-minute consultation and any uptake of service eg assessment/therapy sessions/reports will be the sole responsibility of the individual psychologist, either Dr Carol Galvin or Dr Rachel Woodward.

B The data we collect

Personal data, or personal information, relates to any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

In the case of emergency if we reasonably believe that your mental or physical health requires urgent treatment or we are concerned about the safety of someone else, including a child or vulnerable adult in which case we may disclose information to your GP or other health professional without your consent.

We will only store your personal information for as long as we are required to do so by law.
We will retain any documents relating to ongoing or prospective legal proceedings and in order to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

‘Consult Psychology’ website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
